Not sure if Motz wanted a update done here or not but I'm doing one. Illumination has closed its doors forever. The once top PvE guild is no more and has finally disbanded. I would like to thank everyone who's was ever apart of Illumination/The Nightcrawlers for a great experience and one that I will never forget.
As far as I know the forums will be up until Alcy takes them down I have no idea if or when he is going todo this so lets hope he doesn't or gives us some notice when he does. |

A Message from Motzie

Motz: "(Extremely loud and annoying static)".
That was the first impression I made in Illumination, a guild I joined just after they had killed the twin Emps.
It is official Illumination will be closing its doors once and for all.
It saddens me to no end to be the one who types the final command to end illumination. I do not think I am the right person to type the g-disband command. There are so many more people who spent so much effort in illumination and would be more fitting to end it.
A summary of the last few months for those who are curious:
After those who left in a wave to crimson, the guild was in serious trouble. Gijoe was voted into command and did an outstanding job in rebuilding us and leading us to 3 SSC kills and a void reaver kill. Maybe not much in the big picture but at the time, a successful rebuild was something I had never seen done.
However after a second flood of members leaving Illumination was back down again facing another rebuild or disband task. Many have said it should have ended there. Maybe it should have. Originally brought on to help out with recruitment due to my recent availability, I was the only officer remaining on staff. I (yes I know), Motz, was given GM.
Many of you probably remember me as the //Not so great, but not to bad// kid, tank. I grew up allot since most of you have been around and was a much more mature person and player. Anyways, i began another rebuilding process. With firm beliefs and goals the Fathum Lord kill and Morogrim to 5% came so quickly, I was quick to jump to the happy conclusion of another successful rebuild.
We have again hit a low. This time much lower. I have decided that it would not be wise to attempt another rebuild at this point. For the current members who are still here; Please never accuse me of not trying. There is no doubt in my mind that I am not the best man for a GM position. However, I did do a good job. I was determined to keep the great name of Illumination alive. I gave it everything I had and if my leadership was the cause for an imminent failure than I apologies for those who invested their time.
As I said from the moment I took over GM, I would stay until the bitter sweet end. And I will. I am here to announce the guild disband will be happening. I will give the current members as much time as they need to clean up shop. Please send mail to "illbankone" for any requests for bank materials. Materials which have been accumulated through the rich Naxx raiding history.
To all the members who have been part of Illumination, Nightcrawlers, our guilds history.. Thank you so much for letting me be a part of it. I wish all members; current, or past the best of luck in wherever you go. /Salute to Illumination <3.

Ps. I plan to keep Illumination open on an alt. (For the time being) If anyone wants to put a Turalyon alt in it feel free. Once I find out for sure that the guilds name is reserved after a disband, I will disband the guild and let it rest.
